Something a little different from previous shots in the fact that I didn't keep to the square crop format for this one. I just felt when I was composing it that the vertical format worked the strongest. Also, even though my photos aren't that dark to start with, this is quite a bit brighter!
Canon EOS 450D // Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS // 3 extension tubes (9mm, 16mm, 30mm) // Slik Pro 400DX tripod
This is incredible. It's so clean, it could almost be a digital drawing or vector image. I love the colours and the shape of the photograph, too. You get the impression that the water droplet is just about to fall off, and it's all the more breathtaking for that.
I was looking at this for quite a while, wondering how this worked out. It definitely is bright and it looks like something right from the sky, or your imagination. It looks really smooth and flawless and it's so bubbly, haha. Love it, wonderful work! <3
You know, I really think this is your best macro yet. It's just so sharp and the colours are really beautiful (I wouldn't expect anything less from you though). Composition wise, it's perfect for me. It never would have worked as a square crop, which is why I'm glad you decided to keep the vertical composition. I'mso inspired by your photography, and also by your progress. I think you've really found a niche for yourself with these macro photos, even if I do think you should explore other macro photography at some point. But this type of thing suits you.
Proud of you for not backing down on your macros. I know you find it frustrating at times, but this is proof that you can do it, and not just once.
Thank you darling. Your comments are and always have been wonderful and the best comments I get to receive
As I have said before, to be a source of inspiration is such an incredible compliment and I'm touched by it. I'd love to explore different avenues with macro photography, but of course, that inevitably will require a dedicated macro lens as you know! What would you like to see me have a go at?
I'm honestly glad I listened to you and pushed myself otherwise these photos wouldn't be possible.
